Making Mary’s Monster: A University Libraries and Women in Horror Month Escape Room
Join University Libraries for their escape room titled "Making Mary’s Monster: A University Libraries and Women in Horror Month Escape Room" February 18 and 21 from 10:00-11:30; and February 19, 20, and 22 from 2:00-3:30 in Special Collections, Ablah Library. Individual registration is required. Up to 8 participants per escape room.
Mary Shelley, Percy Bysshe Shelly, Lord Byron, and Dr. John Polidori embark on a writing contest to see who can pen the best ghost story. Mary, upon awakening from a nightmare, begins writing her masterpiece, Frankenstein, when she is struck by an affliction that visits students, academics, and authors the world over: The Dreaded Writers' Block. Solve puzzles to help Mary finish her story!
