This workshop will address the question of what fake news is (and is not), and how you can identify factual reporting vs. non-factual reporting.  We will examine questions to ask when determining the credibility of information you encounter, the authors of this information, and the intent behind it.  Participants will gain an enhanced understanding of how to discern between questionable information and empirical, fact-based information.
