Guest speaker Gary Stecklein, President of the Inventors Association of South Central Kansas, will talk about his experience with acquiring government funding through grants and initiatives such as the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program for business development. Stecklein has acquired 12 patents through his work at Deere & Co. and the Southwest Research Institute, and continues to pursue the development of his inventions.
